General Conditions

  • We ONLY accept cash or EFT payments.
  • We will need a power point and a water point. We have our own electricity cable and hosepipe (max 20m) and we use a gas geyser. Please ensure there is someone present to show our staff where to find these points. If there will be no one available, please inform us beforehand where to find it.
  • We work on time-slots, 6 slots per day, per vehicle (E.g. 11.30am to 12.30pm). The times we provide are estimations only. Please allow an hour either way. We will always try to be as close to times as possible. Traffic and difficult animals may impact a lot on our time.
  • Loadshedding does affect us, but we keep an eye on schedules and re-arrange our bookings accordingly. We will inform you of any changes (As we work all over Pretoria East, we might move your grooming from a morning slot to afternoon slot to accommodate all customers during loadshedding.)
  • During loadshedding we can still do most of the services such as shaving, trimming, bathing, brushing of teeth, towel dry etc. We are unable to blow dry during loadshedding.
  • Rainy weather also effects our services as we may have some cancelations, on short notice. We do work during rainy weather, but if majority of clients cancel for the day, we will reschedule the remaining clients for the first available session.
  • If you stay in a Security Estate and we need an access code please supply us with one no later than an hour before your slot, as this reduces our time to gain access to the estate.
  • We only use products that are specially formulated for animal use. Any special shampoo or product for your pet must be supplied.
  • Please Inform us of any lumps or bumps or other medical issues with your pet.
  • We dip for ticks and fleas on request. Please inform us before grooming session if a dip is required (at a minimal rate of R30 additional).
  • We clean your pet’s teeth as part of our services, using pet approved toothgel.
  • Severely matted animal will be charge at R100 extra, we do not accept any responsibility for any injuries that may happen when shaving matted animals.
  • Severely matted pets can not be styled in the way you would like them to be styled, 99% of the time they need a clean shave.
  • We provide our own clean towels, but you can supply your own if you prefer.
  • Staff is instructed to only clip the tips of toenails, if you require us to cut more than the tip, we do not accept responsibility for any injuries.
  • Please inform our staff on style/shave required. (E.g. summer cut). Please note that a style on a photo or a friend’s pet might look nice and you would like your pet to be similar but might not be possible on your pet as hair may differ from the photo. We will always try our utmost best to make your pet look as close to that if possible or would suggest another style.
  • Please note that we reserve the right to stop any grooming session when any animal is aggressive, or we can not restrain the animal with the owner’s permission. We prefer not to use a muzzle as this make any animal more aggressive and tense.
  • You are more than welcome to stand with us during the grooming session, but please don’t talk or give attention to your pet. They are your four-legged children and are like human children and won’t sit/stand still while they are getting attention for their human parents. Our staff will give them all the love and attention during their grooming session.
  • Knicks and cuts may happen during grooming, and we will always inform you if they happen, but 99% they don’t.
  • Should we need to cancel any grooming session due to unforeseen circumstances we will inform you timeously and reschedule for the first available date. (Sick staff etc.)
  • We do not charge any cancellation fee, as we understand that unexpected things occur, but we do require at least 1 hour notice of cancellation.
  • If there are any problems after a grooming session, please inform us immediately. We do take photos of your pet and we reserve the rights to use any photos for our Facebook, website, google etc.
